The reviving of the Mozambican Cashew Processing Industry started in 2002 when Mr. Miranda, assisted by Technoserve started a cashew factory in Mogincual.

The success of this factory motivated other investors to become Cashew processors.

Agro Industrias A.... is the Holding company owned by the various processors who are exporting under the Zambique brand. This holding company does all exports and is otherwise a service providing vehicle for the industry.
